Why Snow Business?

Snow Business was set up in 2006 to work with the growing number of Australian skiers and snowboarders who know what they require in a snow holiday, want to work with an expert in the field and have a choice of attractive options put before them.

For example, if you are planning a trip with beginners, a new family or any particular requirements, who do you ask for advice?  Short of trawling the web for as much info as possible (and taking up all your time), speaking to a Travel Agent who in all likelihood does not know any more than you about snow or holding on the 'phone for a snow wholesaler (with usually only their products on offer), there are not many other options.  That's why we came about!
The idea is that you call or email us, set out your requirements and preferences and we will suss out what is on offer for you.  We charge a $50 consultation fee, which is deducted from your final payment, and work with you to ensure that your holiday is as near to perfect as possible!

We invite you to browse through our site.  Possible destinations and their pros and cons are discussed, alongside a section for the skier or boarder with more particular needs – beginners, families, solo or independent travellers or the seriously experienced that want to know if there are challenges out there for them! 

Powder Chatter encompasses articles on destinations, equipment, general industry news and so on to keep those snow moments alive and Making Tracks showcases the many special snow offers as they come up.

You’ll notice the details of each property available to you are not listed; the main reason for this is the sheer volume of information you’d have to read through.  Rest assured, if you wish Snow Business to quote for your ski or snowboarding holiday, then every aspect will be discussed in detail and the appropriate choices put in front of you.

Who is Snow Business?

The main energy behind Snow Business is Rebecca Skabar, a long-time skier (over 25yrs) with a huge amount of experience in organising and hosting snow holidays for all levels of skier and snowboarder (and their families, friends, dogs…). 

Rebecca delights in helping others to enjoy the mountains and all they have to offer.  She works with experienced wholesalers and matches clients and their requirements with the best options on offer to Australian skiers and boarders.  Extensively travelled herself, she has plenty of ex-snow experience to call upon if clients want to look at adding other destinations or experiences to their snow travel.  Overall, though, you’ll find a commitment to high levels of customer service as a key part of every booking she works on.

Other advisors to Snow Business are experienced in the industry and are happy to support Rebecca with advice on destinations, snow conditions, travel routes, equipment and general snow news. 

Snow Business operates in association with Integrity Travel, our Queensland based Head Office.  Integrity Travel is fully licensed (LTA 1604) as required by law; registered with the Travel Compensation Fund and Norm Pressey (Principal of Integrity Travel) is also a member of AFTA (Australian Federation of Travel Agents).
