Responsible Use of Information

Snow Business (ABN16291076842) operates in association with Integrity Travel (ABN71079269195), which is a registered and licensed Travel Agent (LTA1604).  We collect information about customers in the process of making travel arrangements and reservations on their behalf and which could reasonably be used to identify them.  Therefore, please find noted here details of how we manage personal information in our business.

Personal Information We Collect

Usually we collect information that is used to make travel arrangements or reservations on your behalf.  This includes, but is not limited to:

• Address
• Phone/fax/email/mobile
• Other contact details
• Age & DOB
• Passport details
• Travel insurance details
• Frequent Flyer details
• Family contact details and information
• Special requirements or requests

Any sensitive information that we collect (for example, details about your health about which you have chosen to inform us) will be used and disclosed only for the purposes for which it was provided.

This information is usually gathered either directly from you or an associate organising your travel arrangements. 

You should note that we do not keep credit card information; it is processed and destroyed in the same transaction.

Storage of Your Personal Information

We store personal information in client files either within reservation files on our computer system (password protected) or in paper-based files, both located on our premises.  We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, however, we do need to disclose this information to Wholesalers, Suppliers, Airlines and/or other Travel Operators in order to make reservations on your behalf – Snow Business (in assoc. w' Integrity Travel) are not responsible for the privacy statements of these companies.

Access to Your Personal Information

You can ask to obtain access to the personal information that we hold about you in accordance with our obligations under the Privacy Act. 

How We Use Your Personal Information

As well as making travel arrangements and reservations on your behalf, we will also use your personal information to give you information concerning offers, products or services about which we think you will be interested as a client of Snow Business (in assoc. w' Integrity Travel) and put you on our SnowBuzz newsletter distribution list.  You should let us know if you would prefer not to receive this information and we will alter your file accordingly.  You will also be given and ‘opt out’ option with each communication of this nature.

Website Privacy Policy

Visits to the Snow Business website are recorded for statistical purposes.  We are able to access reports giving us the user’s server address, place of origin, dates and times of visits to sites, how long visitors remained on the site, which route they took through the site and where they were before and after they visited our site.  Snow Business (in assoc. w' Integrity Travel) does not make an attempt to identify users – we require this information to ensure we have a website that is operating at its optimum capacity.

We do offer you the chance to subscribe to receive SnowBuzz (our newsletter), a quote, or any updates and offers that we may have available.  In this instance, your personal information will be gathered and stored according to the details above.
